The political geography in Europe amidst 1871 and 1996 changed significantly, and the maps in amid these two dates in history go to contrary extremes, each intimacy from rampant imperialism, communist annexation and of course, autonomy. Next were Austria-Hungary, being split into Czechoslovakia, Austria, Hungary, and to a fault expanding the borders of Poland.
